Vegan Nutella with no added sugar

Vegan Nutella might sound weird because you never heard it before. But it is far healthier than the shop-bought product.

Just imagine in the regular Nutella can half of the jar consists of table sugar. Half of the jar! The new type of Nutella is a total difference. It is gluten-free, dairy-free, no refined sugar, no added sugar, no palm oil.
You will undoubtedly enjoy it with no sense of guilt. Vegan Nutella is sweet and has that creamy texture. 😋
You are going to gain only benefits: healthy fats, protein, and a great mood!😉👅  It takes just 30 minutes to make and it also consists of just a few ingredients.

INGREDIENTS:                                               
 
  1. 400 g raw unsalted hazelnuts, skinned
  2. 100 g dark chocolate (note 1)
  3. 2 tbsp refined coconut oil melted
  4. 4 tbsp maple syrup
  5. 125 ml plain hazelnut milk
  6. 1 vanilla bean seeds only (note 2)
  7. ¼ tsp sea salt

INSTRUCTIONS:

  • Heat your oven to 175°C.
  • Spread the hazelnuts in a single layer onto a baking tray, and roast for 15 minutes.
  • Remove from the oven, and place it into a food processor or high-speed blender. Blitz for a few minutes, until you have thick and creamy nut butter. (You'll probably need to stop and scrape down the sides of the bowl - or jar - a few times.)
  • While the nuts are processing, break the chocolate into small pieces, and place into a heatproof bowl over a pan of hot (not boiling) water, with the coconut oil.
  • Once the nut butter is ready, add the melted chocolate and coconut oil, maple syrup, hazelnut milk, vanilla, and salt. Blitz for another couple of minutes, until everything is completely mixed together and smooth.
  • Transfer to a sterilized jar, and store at room temperature. Assuming it's around that long, this vegan Nutella will keep for around a month.
